Morris Bixby Group Welcomes Mike Eade

Morris Bixby Group, a leading agribusiness search firm providing the highest quality professional recruiting and career advancement services since 2000, is pleased to announce Mike Eade has joined the firm as Executive Account Lead.

Eade has served in a wide range of commercial leadership roles in Ag Chem, Seed, and Animal Health. Now based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, he will be engaged in Morris Bixby’s executive search business involved with all aspects of agriculture, including seed, biotechnology, chemistry, fertilizer, and digital agriculture.

He brings expertise in multiple business areas including commercial management, sales and marketing leadership, talent selection and development,” said Jay Morris, President, Morris Bixby Group.

Prior to joining Morris Bixby, Eade started his career at the University of Illinois Extension Service. Then moved to American Cyanamid in various sales, customer service, marketing, and commercial business leadership roles. After American Cyanamid he moved to Rhone Poulenc/Aventis and served as a regional manager and head of corn/soybean marketing. Management requested that he join the Aventis animal health joint venture Merial heading up the Companion Animal Sales group first followed by the large animal business team lead. The seed industry beckoned, and he served in roles as area and commercial unit lead for DuPont Pioneer. The opportunity to join a startup arose and he launched the North American initiative for Plant Impact, a Croda company and moved to North Carolina to initiate the effort. His most recent role as the Americas VP of Sales and Marketing for S&W Seed focused on the merger and business development initiative of bringing together the S&W and Sorghum Partners Seed businesses for North and South America.

Eade earned his B.S. Ag Econ and Dairy Science degree from the University of Illinois. He and his wife Wilda will continue to reside in Chapel Hill.
